Job Description:
As an A/V Engineer, you'll apply creative thinking to developing and designing audio/visual connectivity for current and future clients by understanding the project requirements, selecting components and completing detailed drawings for system assembly.

-Design, specify and document audiovisual, conferencing, control system switching, and tracking/interface systems for projects
-Assist with customer site visits and aid with installation and end-user training
-Compile and maintain Bill of Materials for project designs
-Develop documentation and associated drawings that educate the customer on necessary specifications to support systems
-Address on-site integration challenges for projection completion while maintaining system functionality and Mechdyne quality
-Maintain as-built documentation of on-site activities, system configurations, and lessons learned for projects
-Pursue, recommend, and implement new methods, processes, and materials/equipment for improvement
-Assist with projection, audio visual, control and other subsystem staging, installation and integration tasks
-Test and evaluate the latest in cutting-edge virtual reality, visualization and advanced audio/visual technology
-Travel as needed for both foreign and domestic projects

-2 or 4 year degree in computer, electrical, aerospace, or network engineering/design or related fields
-Audio/video design or setup experience preferred
-Computer hardware and troubleshooting knowledge
-Hands-on experience preferred
-Ability to handle multiple projects/priorities at one time
