Job Description:
The Pride Group is a non-profit organization that assists adults with behavioral/mental health needs. This position is located in our residential care facility in Le Mars, Iowa and requires a highly detail-orientated individual. Under the direct supervision of the administrator, this position performs duties such as cash disbursement, financial record keeping, and reconciliation of accounts, consumer reporting and miscellaneous duties as assigned by the administrator. Deals with a diverse group of external visitors as well as internal residents of the organization. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload, recommends changes in office practices or procedures.

Essential Functions:
• Handles all financials - petty cash, consumer's money and consumer distributions.
• Quick book record keeping - paying consumer bills, entering tickets & deposits, maintaining petty cash and quarterly statements
• Consumer financials - disperse weekly allowances to consumers and educate consumers on balances in Full Circle program.
• Complete CPC applications and assist with paperwork requests from Regions on member funding
• Payee reporting
• Assist with new consumers' paperwork and discharged consumers' paperwork - with the administrator and team leader of nursing
• Maintain and verify all consumers' insurance
• Complete insurance applications and renewals

Qualifications:
Competencies:
-Basic computer knowledge - including Word and Excel
-Personal honesty and credibility
-Responsible for office petty cash and consumers' cash.
-Thoroughness in tasks of position.
-Collaboration Skills.
-Work effectively with other staff to run a professional facility
-Communication Proficiency.
-Work with not only staff but residents of facility.
-Office Management.
Required Skills:
-18 years of age or older
-Must have previous cash-handling experience
-Must have Quick Book knowledge
-Ability to pass a background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen
Pay Rate: 14.50
Hours: 8-4
Shifts: Days
